Message from Braddigan

hey all of you!  crazy blessings your way in 2007 :) so i've just now gotten back from yet another epic chapter in Nicaragua... so many amazing things going on down there to report as we spend more and more time with the kids in La Chureca, the city dump community in Managua.

how about this? looks like an ambassador has caught wind of all that is going on in the dump and is going to give us a big old beauty of a property to found a vocational school and temporary refuge for the people living closest to the fires and smoke?  wow.  and we're in the midst of planning a Love, Light, & Melody day in the dump on March 6th too... with a concert and some world cup quality barefoot soccer too no doubt :)  we've got a documentary idea rolling and a photo journal that we're working on as well to bring more of this story to light, so keep an eye out alright? bottom line is that i'm just super stoked about all the incredible opportunity that continues to grow down there, just more and more doors opening with every day...

So i'm writing you here on my way to San Salvador to hook up with some close friends of mine to play a few shows over in the Bahamas—we're flying over to the island tomorrow in a puddle jumper and will be enjoying some sweet outdoor shows on the beach... the purpose of these free shows is to foster community and to just bless the 800+ locals that live there!  we're going to give away 500 Watchfires cds and 500 Noah's Arc dvds... so it should be a good time filled w sunshine, smiles, and waves breaking on the beach behind us!  

really looking forward to an amazing spring and will hope to cross paths with a lot of you out there on the open road yet again!  we're working on hopeful return trips to Nicaragua and Japan, as well as trying to pen a Dispatch scouting trip to Zimbabwe... and we'll be planning a boatload of stateside touring from mid-March through the end of May too.  so please shoot us any of your ideas as far as show interest goes and we'll hope to see you.

hope you guys have been enjoying our Live at Goucher College double cd! tell us what you think... and keep an ear to the ground for the release date on our upcoming Live dvd from our September 17, 2006 show at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA...

we're also working on a new photo journal page to display more photos from all of our trips and shows... so please check out the latest additions we've made to our site, and as always we rely on your input as to how we can be better and stronger!  so make your words known alright?

The Spring Tour

Braddigan is hitting the road this spring with Rey and Tiago and they want to come play for you! We are booking from mid-March through May and are planning on visiting as many of you as possible, but we need your help! Let us know where you are, and if you are in college or high school, email Brandon and help us set up a show! The band is looking forward to seeing you all this spring.

Musicians On Call

On April 19, at the World Café Live in Philadelphia, PA, Braddigan will be
playing a benefit concert to raise money for Musicians On Call. Founded by Michael Solomon (Brick Wall Management) and Vivek Tiwary (Starpolish, the Tiwary Entertainment Group), MOC brings musicians to the bedsides of patients in hospitals, reaching over 65,000 individuals and their families. This concert is sponsored in part by WXPN radio. More details to come!
